Practicing pickleball by yourself can be a challenge — the machine is easy to operate and automatically feeds balls to the player, providing a simple way to practice shots and improve skills. You can work on different types of shots including dinks, volleys, groundstrokes, serve returns and so much more!

Scarborough East Tennis Club offers flexible and affordable rates. For pickleball machine rental, the charge is for regular court time (see full rates here), plus a $5 fee.
How far in advance do players need to book pickleball machine rental sessions, and what is the reservation process like?
The more notice you're able to provide us, the better! But sessions can be booked as early as a week in advance, or as late as the same day depending on availability. To make your reservation, contact us at 614-868-5683 or scarborougheast@gmail.com.
Are there any additional charges or requirements associated with pickleball machine rentals, such as equipment maintenance or usage fees?
No. All charges are included in the standard court fee, plus $5.

Using the pickleball machine is relatively simple, and quite user-friendly; there are many brands on the market, but the machine at Scarborough East is made by Lobster. Our front desk staff can provide full instructions, and are happy to help you get comfortable operating the machine for a safe, fun and helpful rental session!
Are there any restrictions or guidelines regarding the usage of the pickleball machine, such as age limits or skill level requirements?
Yes. All renters must be age 18 or older, or accompanied by an adult.
Are there any special promotions or discounts available for regular renters or members of the tennis club who wish to use the pickleball machine regularly?
